I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again and again and again. We live in a DIFFERENT time than any other time in recorded history! So why the hell would you continue to live in the old ways with the old mindset? Opportunity is abound. Knowledge can be attained endlessly and easily from home. You have the world at your fingers and a NEW market place has devoured the old.

The time we live in RIGHT NOW will be repeated in the history books just decades from now. The time of the internet boom, when cell phones and Facebook ruled the social world, when millionaires were born through innovation. The time when few people who thought differently than everyone else, the few that took risk, the few that saw opportunity in a NEW market rather than trying to revive the old like 98% of everyone else.

The time we live in now is the time of BOOM, not depression. You truly can live your passion and do whatever it is you want to do. There is a niche out there for everyone and a way to monetize that niche while providing unparalleled value to it’s members. Our market place is no longer big corporation and then everyone else. It’s now just everyone else in a symbiotic relationship with each other. Sharing value and genuinely helping others better their lives by providing direction and information.

Marketing is no longer what it used to be and that’s AWESOME! No longer can only the fat wallets have the best marketing. Now YOU can build a brand and market it for almost free!

Why would you say “some day” when “some day” is TODAY!

You have no room for excuses and only yourself to blame if you don’t do anything about where you’re at. It’s your fault, not your friends or family, not the government or gas prices, and not your competitors. It’s YOUR fault if in 5 years you are EXACTLY where you are today.

Stop living in complacency and do something… If you want to.

Hey but who am I to tell you this? I live comfortably, have my own business, I am out of debt, and travel nearly every month…

Oh yeah! I am someone who was home schooled from grade 3 into my senior year of high school. I’m someone who was socially awkward because I didn’t know how to interact with people. I’m someone who was an OBESE 190lbs with a 37″ waste  from age 9 – 14 and who suffered a life-long hip injury directly due to my weight. I’m someone who suffered from appearance issues and eating disorders after purely hating myself for being fat. I starved myself and at age 15 weighed 104lbs at nearly 5’8″.  I’m someone who lost hope in life and love (I have the journal entries that I may some day share) and suffered 6 months of contentiously deep, dark depression. It was like living in a black hole every moment of every day wondering why I should even wake up to repeat the next day.

Um let’s see – I grew up with a workers mindset and thought the wealthy were special and privileged. I didn’t know I could start my own business. I am someone who used to think I was “to shy” to network and talk to people, let alone build a business. I am a GED holder and someone who dropped out of college after 2 years with nothing to show but debt. I was over 30k in debt in my late teens and early 20′s and drove an 88 VW Jetta with 180k+ miles. I have had negative money in my accounts more than I can count. More times than I can remember I had to make the decision of gas in the car to get to work or food to eat.

I could go on and I’m not saying i’ve had it harder than anyone else. What I am telling you is I am someone who has been on the bottom and finally did something about! I don’t say the stuff I say because it sounds cool. I saw it because i’ve been there and I got out. You can to, no excuses!

Are you in a deep dark black hole right now? AWESOME! Why? Because all throughout history the greatest successes are built out of the darkest depressions, in social and in personal endeavors.

Your power within is unlimited. You ability to gain knowledge is everywhere and always constant. Your worth in this world is no greater and no less than anyone else. More than ever in the age we live in you can do anything you set your mind to. It starts with creating your world in your mind, in your thoughts, and in your imagination. It becomes reality through small daily actions!

My tip – Start getting uncomfortable and start failing right away! The more you fail, the more you learn and the quicker you’ll become successful in life in whatever the definition of success is to you!

Simplify things! Stop doing so many damn things at once. It’s not cool to be the busiest person in the world. That’s your own prerogative. Take a mental check list of what actions are helping you get to your future and what actions are keeping you where you are. Then do something about it.
